I remember riding the bus to school in the 8th grade, when this record came on...At first, I thought it was the "Disco Single" (12 inch, or remix) of Good Times, then all of a sudden, this guy starts "rapping"....

To this day, it's the most amazing, ground breaking, life changing event of my life.UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I mean, some people can't imagine it, but there was a time when there was no rap, no MTV, etc..

We sat on that bus, in stunned silence for the entire 15 minutes of the song, mesmerized by what we were hearing..

I don't wanna take this too far, but it really was kinda like watching the first moon landing; The only difference was, this came ouy of NO WHERE, with no warning, buildup or hype. Suddenly, there was this thing called rap...

It's all we talked about for weeks, and I've been caught up every since......
