No Disrespect to UnEq and OSL, but What else do you listen to on line? Let's be real here, i know i'm not the only one who listens to other sites.. I'm just trying to find out what my other oldheads are streaming..UnEq, you KNOW OSL is holdin it down with me, But I drift from time to time. There are some oldschool joints that I get down to that are digital that I had to check out, and they are pretty nice.. holla at me and i'll send you the links.. But I was just wondering... I'm doing 105.3 kiss fm out of the tidewater area right now.. I'll be back UnEq...LoL

Since I discovered OSL a week or two ago, it's the only online station I listen to...


I'm constantly away from my desk at work (the only time I listen to music online), so I don't have any need - or time! - to look for anything else. OSL is great enough, for me!

I know I'm not the only one. I'm probably the only one that'll admit it..Sorry UnEq, I gotta be real with mine.. I like music and I listen to ALOT of on line while i'm here at work. there are Alot of stations that I'm feelin that has the oldschool I'm in to. Check this out...

Go to this site, look at the aound town window in the middle of the site and click on the listen to oldschool in HD and it will bring up another site that will let you listen to radio stations that are digital and there a few of them that are oldschool like one that's in boston that aight...Try it out and let me know what you think.. I'm not handing in my OSL card but I like keeping my ear open when it comes to oldschool.. that's what junkies do....Sorry OSL..

I stay locked on OSL mainly because of the community and the arcade(Y'know-BESIDES the music) The only other station I ever tried was jammin' old school , I think....And that was just to hear some old school RNB.


  Now, what if there was an ol'school station that stayed true to hip-hop, PLUS threw in some old school rnb...If only such a station existed.......... Hmmmmmmm....


P.S. quick poll-who thinks that songs like "take a chance, summertime, summertime,It's just begun" etc ARE hip-hop jams?

OK, I've gotta flip on what I said earlier...


Since I just discovered the go-go radio website, my time has been split between OSL and there (moreso on the gogo site right now because I'm working on a go-go project and it gives me ideas and inspiration).

I've been kickin it at www.icebergradio.com click on Urban/R&B and you will see a link to Hip Hop Classics. Not to bad and the sound quality is pretty good.You have to create a user name/login for free and minimal pop ups. No dis to OSL, I kick it here too !!!

You want some aight oldschool hip hop, go http://www.vibezone.com/main.html
And click on the listen to urban oldies radio in HD link in the around town box, then when the HD box opens, click the listen to 100's of additional stations box, it wil then give you a list of cities and stations. scroll down to Boston and check out the old school hip hop station.. I think you'll like what you hear, no to mention it's High Def.. Sorry OSL...

For real? OSL is my shit. Especially with the live request thing? how can you go wrong??? Plus I just noticed tonight that OSL just went high def too!


I'm not even going to bother checking out other sites. 1) because I'm lazy...  2) Because I'm perfectly happy - even more so now that I found that the requests are back up and the sound quality improved!!!!

I'm not the hater here, I just thought you may wanna have some other options when listening to Oldschool.. I see everybody ain't like me. I stream at least three stations at one time. I like having my options open.. I ain't hating on the oldschool or where I get it..I guess that's what's makes me true oldschool, I don't stick to one thing, I like it ALL oldschool, All the time!

Don't get me wrong, OSL is banggin- though i came across one site called


"OLD SCHOOL BEFORE 1986" stricly for real old schoolers; New York finest rappers,male and female. I must admitte; yo, it's hottttttt! DJ UnEq, yo dog you still got it going on, yo, im loyal to "OSL" Peace.

Yo Rich, I'm true to OSL as well But I gotta do my thing for the sake of oldschool.. Yo Grits, Just checked out Iceberg, it was aight.. The sound (64k) was aight too, I still give PROPS to OSl for the Request Line.. Now, If I can Get UnEq To load up what I sent Him, We'd be the Hottest Thing streaming, especially since OSL went 64k.. Holla at me UnEq, I'm Still With Ya....Ya Man, Chuckie

Yo Jones, the request line here is off the hook and the library is pretty tight as well. If it wasnt for OSL I wouldnt be meeting some of you peeps and it feels like home here !!! Thanks OSL

I check in with OSL every week or so. I also listen to the crews on http://www.cerritosallstars.com - they play a little old school depending on who's DJing. The live mix shows aren't bad but they'll talk too much sometimes.

Also, the HD radio stuff that clearchannel has been pushing has some old school stations from different markets, but their playlists aren't very big.

Here's a list of HD stations (chicago, boston, detroit, cincinnati have old school stations)

I access the streams from this page
http://www.106kmel.com/cc-common/hdradio/

and then choose the old school station i want to listen.


BUT Uneq has a wider selection of joints!
