I used to skate at Dale City Skating Rink in...well...Dale City, Va...

That rink - as well as Dominion Skate down the road in Dumfries - used to double as the gogo on weekends, too. I used to see Trouble at Dale City and Rare Essence at Dominion.
(That whole deal changed when, in an effort to keep gogo away, they passed a law saying that, if you're on the rink floor, you have to have skates on your feets - including the band! That pretty much killed the go-go down my way)

werd...yeah..I used to live in lakeview till '85, used t hop on the n15 to subway. Then I moved to Hempstead. Been here ever since, on the heights, on bennett...Where you rest'n now? Man the Stead has changed alot since the Main st. ghost town of the late 80's.....still wild though.......I live directly across the street from jackson main school... every summer it seems that every couple wants to stop in front of the school and finish their arguement no matter what time of day it is.  I have seen some real crazy shit go on in front of the crib.....from the hispanics parking in front of my house to get their freak on and me call'n the cops on them, to knock out-grag out fights. The best one was with these two lesbians... funniest shit in the word.. also kept my attention after the clothes started to fly off..tits and ass everywhere...didn't call the cops for that one though..  .....

Smoov, too wild for me brah... I bounced back in the 80's when I left for college and the marines. But the peeps stive live on Elizabeth Ave. Peeps used to run a babber shop on fulton next to what used to be blimpies when blimpies was the joint..But you're right, the stead has changed too much for me.. peeps closed the shop and now does his thing out of his house. they used to teach at Hempstead High, Plus Preach, but now just holds down the preaching thing..I guess he's feelin the Big change thing.. they other peeps are in rooselvet so they aren't too far away but that's changed too, so Now, i visit every now and then, maybe 2 or 3 times a year, for a minute.. i'm restN in Va now, and plan on going back to NC.. I got HOOKED on NC.. That's my Spot!! I feel ya on the fight seen. I saw alot of those when we were up there..and they are too funny..got a fam now and I don't want them seeing all that drama..Playing the old man these days..
