Name a song or an album that you HATED when you first heard it, but eventually grew to love.
I hate to admit this, but the first time we heard 'The Message', me and my boys could not believe that Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five would release such a stupid, non-danceable song........Oooops.
In our buis, there's ALOT of those going around, but if did a great deal of parties you know somebody will always come up and ask you if you have that very song, so you gotta grow to like a wide variety of stuff.like it or not..As a dj you know you gotta keep an open mind when it comes to music, That doesn't mean that you have to like what you're playing but if you're a true dj you gotta move the crowd, and that means hittin them with what they like..and then as we all know, you look for the perfect time to MIX the heck out of it til you've FADED that sucker out..and then you go on....Feel me?

what's funny is when Audio Two first came out, I thought they were the weakest duo on the planet. (and you gotta admit, the rhymes are very simplistic in Top Billin...)
But they - and the track "top Billin" grew on me big time. they're definately one of favs now when it comes to Party rhymes
