Y'know, my FAVORITE aspect of this site is the ability to listen to good, old fashioned hip-hop while playing astroids, because that is exactly how I first heard most of these jams, While playing astroids at this little record shop up the street from my house. Putting the games on the site was BRILLIANT.


By the way, I challange ANYBODY to take me off of the high score list


P.S. what's up with "kangeroo"? I used to love that game.

I used to be the master of Asteroids,lots of quarters at my local 7-11 back in the days. I can't remember a game called Kangaroo.One of my favs at a local bowling alley (Mar Vista Lanes) on Venice Blvd.on the westside was called Jungle Hunt, remember that one?

Once you download the games, you gotta install mame to play them if you guys wanna try it out.. Also, you don't have to unzip the games.. Just drop it in the rom directory of mame

Actually, I tried both of those games and they didn't work... But I did find working version of "Jungle King / Jungle Hunt" here:

haha! Yea, Kangaroo was real cool...


UnEq: those roms work, but I might wanna mention that the newest version of Mame won't run them. I had to find an old version (v0.37 to be exact_, and they work fine
