Help me out here...for YEARS I've been trying to track down this one Go-Go song, I have no idea who made it or if my lyrics are even correct, but I remember hearing something like "poon tang poon tang, I don't wanna go, can't get back with my honey bun, gimmie some of that yum yum yum before I go to bed" and "of all the animals in the world I'd rather be a squirrel, so I can climb the higest mountain top and take a view all over the world". I remember that back from when I went to Morgan State University in Baltimore back in the 80's, it was my 1st exposure to Go-Go music. Back then it was always a thing about N.Y. vs. D.C., but there were ALOT of fine sisters from D.C. at school so I would listen to their music when I spent time with them
"poon tang poon tang, I don't wanna go, can't get back with my honey bun, gimmie some of that yum yum yum before I go to bed" and "of all the animals in the world I'd rather be a squirrel, so I can climb the higest mountain top and take a view all over the world".
Lemme tell ya.. That's an old rhyme that quite a few rappers used back in the day, that dates clear back to DJ Hollywood... And I'm sure a go-go group or 2 probably used that too. Maybe Chuckie C can help you out on this one cause I jammed out to some go-go back then, but I wasn't a big go-go head...

You are reaching back on that on cause alot of em did use those lines back then , it could have been junkyard, lil benny, even eu if it was a live thing, it's no telling..every bosy was into taking some of the rappers stuff and going go-go with it..chuck was good for that as well as eu.. So I would start there..Good luck...I'll keep thinking though..

You talking about me? Man... I forgot all about FM radio years ago... That didn't even cross my mind LOL I think it's been about that long since I've listened to any FM station. I didn't even think they would be broadcasting on the web either - but I guess everyone does these days
So there you go, Tdilla... Check out those stations
