I was listening to the radio today and I was surprised to hear this old school track mixed in. It was by a male rapper and the style sounded like it was from anytime between 90 and 95
The rapper had a very bouncy delivery and would emphasize words. The beat was uptempo and the raps were somewhat fast for the time. I think the chorus went something like "Check it out ya'll"
And he said a a rhyme like "dumb dumb" in the beginning of one of the verses. He also mentioned opening up the trunk. I was really feelin this guys style. If someone could hook it up I would be maad appreciative.
Any tips would help too cause I REALLY wanna find this song. Thanks!
That would be Masta Ace Incorporated and the song is Born to Roll. The beat just started rollin' through my head as I read check it out y'all, one of my all time favorites. I think it's from 1995.
Master Ace - Born to Roll
