Dang! First dropped by Aftermath then he's in the most anticipated albums of 04 article in an issue of XXL and no single no nothing is heard from since. I got hyped when I heard about his signing with Aftermath in 2000 http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1428236/20001027/story.jhtml and my anticipation for a new album of his and excitement over 5 years has well....been depleted.

From what I understand it's still in the making - still to be completed. Unfortunately, once he left Aftermath, there hasn't been much press about it

Truth Hurt's Addictive got cats hyped the leak of Cold Feeling got cats hyped, the Dre instrumental floating around that was Rakim's called Dream Come True got cats hyped, didn't really care for appearance on Jay Z album and song on 8 Mile Soundtrak was alright, joint with Nas and Alicia Keys was SWEEEEEEETTTTT!!!!!
Run freestyle about what happened to him at the Ghostface show at Apollo was cool but I think now.........nobody's holding they breath.

rakim one of the greatest emcees to ever spit but its a new era and if you dont sound like everyone else these record labels dont want to fuck with you so if the r is to come back and b himself he must do it on the indi tip. but will we ever hear rakim again ? i dont know its up to the dj n radio stations to play the music
