How do we suggest additional artist?

dditional artist, but I don't know if there is a certain way to do that.  I would like to here some Mobb Deep, MC Breed, Boss, Bone Thugs n' Harmony, E-40, Raekwon, Ghost Face Killa, Outkast.   Just a suggestion.  Holla Back!  ONE!

I'll definitely try to hook those artists up on the playlist eventually... Unfortunately, I don't have any of them right now...


OldSchoolLive.com's not making any money at this time.... But if the day ever comes, best believe I'll be beefin up the collection!

I have some cd's at home full of old school mp3's that I've collected over the years..When I get a chance, I'll go through them and see if there is enough different ones that you have on here and then i can burn ya a copy and send to ya....We can collectively build up the collection!

That's years and years of collecting music   Just easier to manage everything on a hard drive than in tons of CD books.


By the way...how much is it running you to have Live365 host all of your mp3's on their servers?

What you're listening to right now is being broadcasted live from one of my computers here in baltimore... Live365.com listens to my stream, and relays it to the rest of the world. When I broadcast in this mode, I can only hold 50 listeners at the same time.


When my live server is down, they have 500mb of space for selected mp3's that I upload to them every now and then, and then they can stream it for me. When I broadcast in this mode, I can  hold 100 listeners at a time. - Also this mode has tons of instream commercials from live365, and I also can't have the request feature...


This package costs me 39.95/month...

Wow, so you're paying $40 per month to let us all listen to your music...well I appreciate it!


The reason I asked is cause I'd love to stream an Underground Hip-Hop station from my PC, but streaming directly to the internet through my cable connection isn't too efficient.

Well, it's more like $80/month - because oldschoollive.com's really the only reason why I wanna keep paying $40/month for an internet connection. I'd go back to dial up in a heart beat (only cause I'm broke as hell right now! LOL)


I feel ya though - Alot of friends of mine have cable internet and complain of frequent down time - even if it was just for 1 or 2 minutes at a time... That's bed when you're trying to stream radio...


My connection kicks ass for some reason... Hardly ever goes down (almost never)- and it seems to be faster than everyone elses..


It's possible I might be moving soon, and I'm kinda scared to see what kind of connection I'd end up with....
