Old song

Hi everbody,
I am from Brazil and I like hip hop music. I have on K7 tape with 2 songs that I would like to find, but I do not know the name of the song or artist. Maybe this song has more than 20 years. My English is not so good but I will try to write what I understood:

First song (I think that I understood only the chorus):
Fly guys, Fly guys, ohhhh Fly guys
Fly guys, Fly guys, ohhhh ohhhh Fly guys

Second song (I understood only some parts (Terrible)). Girls sing this)):
I would like to send a message to ...
...
We can stay the night...

(Chorus 2 times)
AM ..... to the radio
FM ..... (Hey !)

Thank you very much for any help !
Hugs,
Marcelo

I hope this works.. I'm using my phone to reply to this message board for the first time :)

Anyway, I'm thinking that the first song you're talking about is "Fly Guy" from Pebblee Poo. I have this on vinyl, but it's one of the many tracks that I don't have ripped to MP3 yet...

The second song rings a bell, but I'll have to think about that one for a little bit :) Anyone else know?

I donīt know if it is possible, but I can send you a part of the second sound. I can rip to MP3 the chorus. My K7 is old but I think this can help.

Thanks again !!

Cool.. go ahead and rip it, and when you reply to this, there should be an uption to attach the mp3 to the post as long as it's not a big file size...

If you cant get the attachment feature to work, let me know and I'll Private Message you my email address where you can send it, and I'll post it where others can hear it if I still don't know what it is.

Yea, that track has been WAY out of print for a long time now, so I don't mind you asking for it..

Chuckie, see if you have it... If not, lemme know, and i'll just have to hook up the ol' turntables and get it converted... :)

oh, and I forgot to mention that second track..

you got me man.. it sounds familliar - or at least I think it does... But I have no idea who it is :) It sounds more R&B than hip hop so it's kind of out of my league...

Chuckie? SOS? Dawg? Smooov? Any of you guys have any idea?

Alright cool... Well, Marcelo, I got you on that Pebblee Poo.. I just gotta hook up my turntables - possibly over thanksgiving, and get that converted for you... So now all we gotta do is figure out what that other track is :)

I will try to find too. I am seeking this sounds because it is a hobby that I have. When I can, and my son leaves (2 months), I listen the old music.

Here in Brazil that made a lot of success and as "Yarbrough And Peoples" says: "Donīt stop the music."

By the way, this attached mp3 is the "Fly Guy" that I talked about. I found Peeblle Poo at Amazon: "Diggin' in the Crates, Vol. 1: Profile Rap Classics". But itīs not the same song.

Thank you very much and If I find it I inform you!

Hugs,
Marcelo

The one you're looking for is 'Fly Guys Rap' by The Fly Guys...

You can find it on the 'Big Apple Rappin' compilation.
