Most Dangerous Cities
Permalink Closed

some of you might have heard the recent list of most dangerous U.S. cities in 2005,  (The fine city of St.Louis was ranked #1)

so how has your city changed over the years?  Has it made progress or declined since back in the day? I know my city, Cleveland, was 7th on the list and it has gone downhill in recent years.

So if your city made the list im interested to find out if the ranking was justifiable and if things have changed, better or worse.

(i know this aint really hip-hop, but i figured id throw something out into the main board)

Well.. I haven't seen the list but NY has to be somewhere in there..let's face it, crime is on the rise everywhere.... unemployment may be a factor... how many times during year do you hear of the automakers having plant closings, companies downsizing, or even the company take-overs, that leave the smaller companies management, and staffed employees looking for new jobs. Mostly not even getting paid what they were making in their previous jobs, if they find a job at all. Then they have to make ends meet somewhere.....Don't forget all of the "U.S" companies that moved their plants and headquarters overseas because the pay rate/insurance is lower they save billions while this country goes down, unemplyment goes up, then turn around and ship their stuff back "Home" to the US to sell to people that have no moeny to aquire these things....Just figure.. a pair of jordans may cost about maybe $2.00 to make there and sell them here for how much?.. come on...how many people do you know that have had their sneakers "jacked", or how we said it back in the day.."vicked", How many people do we know that have decided to move back "Home"....with parents. Lets face it the world is kinda screwed up. Even if you make the right decisions along the way. Even a college degree doesn't guarantee a job...and don't forget you have to pay back that tuition, usually upwards in the tens of thousands, or your credit will get screwed up. Then you have a degree,no job, bad credit... how can some people survive, get the things they want, and live and eat they way they want to.....they turn to a life of crime.... there are stories of it in the news all the time.."he/she was such a good kid", "he/she was a such a good father/mother" ... some of the people that cannot cope just commit suicide, some kill the kids and all, if they think they have no means to support the family....it's crazy but it's true.....my motto... always put some money up out of that check every week, keep your credit straight.. cause hell... you never know......I know I took medley's topic and went somewhere else with it but it's all related......Don't you just wish you could go back to high school and the only thing you had to think about is homework, your girl, and what fresh gear you were going to wear tomorrow....and who was gonna fight on friday after school...     ...ahhh the good 'ol days....Smooov....
