y'all know me...so here it goes.. Every "old school" artist, from King Tim III, to Willie Wood, to Spoonie Gee, to Busy Bee, to Divine Sounds, to the "Crash Crew" , ( via j3..the new "big cheese" ), to LL COOL J, to RUN-DMC, to BIZ MARKIE, TO KANE, to all the artists and DJ's that have all of us here. It is more than 30 years later, and it still gets me going. And I still think they are owed millions of dollars compared to some of the crap I used to hear on the radio. I just listen to xm satellite radio 65 "the rhyme" when I am in my car, and channel 845 "the rhyme" on my directv or my mp3 which is loaded with old school. It drives my wife and kids crazy when i blast it on a saturday morning, but hey... I pay the cost to be the boss. I know MCMEDley was not looking for that type of answer, but I couldn't resist.... Smooov
you make a good point how the old school rappers shoulb be owed millions because when you look at what these new mc's are makin for the quality of their songs it doesnt make sense for them to be paid that much

Who said this?:" 'cause you didn't start rockin' 'till '83-way back in the day-WE GOT BEAT SO YOU COULD GET PAID-We made you a job, you two-bit slob..........
I think this is too broad of a question because there are too many people that should have been in the hall of fame LOOOOOONNNGGGG time ago. You got SO many people that paved the way and all they got is a little change when someone sampled their stuff. There were ALOt of doors opened up by ALOT of mc's/dj's back in the day and they just got brushed under the carpet. Every now and then you may hear some new jack give props to the person that they sampled or that opened the door for them but what they should really be doing is seeing that the person get the JUST DO'S..
