I can remember a song that the hook went : Like Vogues On A Cadillac Brougham. Anyone remember it? It was like maybe 1982 ish?? I used to have it on a mixtape but never knew the artist and would like to find it. I "think" there were two MC's rapping on it.

B-Girls by Young and Restless
Pandisc Records ... it was more like 1989, 1990
Kinda silly but dope at the same time
Had the hook.. B stands for bronco benz bmw bass bangles and a pair of bars.... etc etc etc etc
Coz ppl of the world that we call b-girls like vogues(sp?) on a cadillac brougham
I thought i was the only one that liked this song HA.. found the 12" last year for like 10 bucks sealed.

JB,GOOD CALL !!!!! Thanks for taking the time to answer that one,I did a little searching after you gave me the artist and it's available on cd. Ya,it's kind of a whack song but fun none the less

i knew it sound familiar i went to school with those cats...if you have a chance listen to poison ivy...it was a solid club hit down here in the late 80s... oh and also if you want to dig deeper for bass music around that time...theres a cd called super bass... has some good classic bass hits on it to enjoy...let me know if you cant find it... young & restless - man....brings back memories.  the cut on their release definitely has to be 'poison ivy' - but do you remember the joint released by clad d that was a spin off  from that song called 'she game me head'?
