I'll second that, good call. I would put LL Cool J's Radio as a runner up.

I think Run DMC-Run DMC is the best album as far as a turning point in hip hop is concerned, but I have to say my favorite album of all time is A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders...

If you liked rapture, you should check out the "songstress"(especially "angel"), and if you can find it, "I just want to be your girl" (the group is actually "chapter 8", but Anita sings lead)

to ghost,

hell yeah midnight marauders def one of my all time favourite albums, low end theory is pretty good to. I love the two songs in a row, rap promoter, then straight into butter. Two of the best tribe beats right there.

Favourite album of all time is the hardest question you can ask a music lover, there is just too much to choose from and you can never make a decision. eveytime somehting pops into your head that u like just bas much.

Here are some of my other favourite albums..

Mos Def - Black on both sides
PUTS - Question in the form of an answer & OST
Diamond D - Stunts, Blunts and Hip Hop
Showbiz and AG - Run Away Slave
The Artifacts - Between a rock and a hard place
D-Styles - Phantazmagorea ( on the tuntablism tip )
