Just got back from the tribe show.

First, let me break it down...

DJ Ak-shun was spinin' the wax for a few hours while a there was a fashion show goin on. He was spinnin' all the old school classics. Meanwhile, they kept talkin about a special guest that was about to perform. So I'm thinking, hmmm.. special Ed? (Becasue DJ Ak-shun was there) or maybe it was Black Sheep since they're down with the whole crew and they gotta new album comin out? But then there were a few guys fighting their way down from the front row handing out flyers for Naughty By Nature, and I really thought nothing of it - untill Naughty By Nature took the stage moments later, and pretty much rocked the F'n house.. It had that whole unexpected factor going on. :)

Once they got off the stage, DJ Ak-shun was back on playing all the old school jammie jams while more models walked across the stage.

Then it was finally time for Tribe. They started off with "Buggin' Out" and ended with "Award Tour".. Well, they really ended after a performance from Madd Skillz and Q-tip that took the stage for the wrap up. But over all it was a kick ass show from the Tribesters. Wish I had pictures, and I wish I had audio, but I don't (sorry!!!) But at least a couple friends and I handed out a ****-load of flyers for OldSchoolLive.com after the show.

anyway, off to bed - gotta work in the morn...
