Anyone remember who did the instrumental funk melody which repeats the same chord pattern throughout the entire song? I though it was Roger or Zapp, but don't remember. It's from around 1978-1981 period.


Here's how it kind of goes:


da dum-da dum, da dum dum dum dum dum

No, not More Bounce to the Ounce which is what everyone, including me, thought.


It's only an instrusmental with some synthesized voicing with that Roger-type sound. The sound I described above is from a bass guitar and repeats throughout the song. It would seem to be a type of song you would "pop" to.
